The last 100m was tuff. Cold, windy, altitude well above 5000. I had to concentrate on every step.
Next time we go up we are climbing to reach the highest peak in Europe, Elbrus 5600 above sea level.
Acclimatising in altitude well over 3000 might be fairly exhausting but gentle touring tempo was comfortable all the way up, to altitude 4057.
Never missing a season since my three I was bound to get back on skis...
When snowflakes are gone and there is nowhere to go, we keep our skies in the flow.
Just like terrain goats I have climbed up to the clouds feeling the freedom and wild side of nature. Clouds were coming and going, my skies constantly pinned to my backpack as I was climbing rocks to heaven.
