Yet another epic racing weekend this year in Newport Velodrome. I was not sure how I am feeling, I have had well mixed feelings right from the start of the event.

Yet another epic racing weekend this year in Newport Velodrome. I was not sure how I am feeling, I have had well mixed feelings right from the start of the event. As the first day of competition progressed I started to feel my wheels better and I pulled time of 4:41 and something in heat of Personal pursuit which was not bad after just few track hours I ve managed to clock this early in season. Luckily for me, I ve managed to catch my opponent in 4th lap and so didn't have to go all the way round 18 laps. It was relief for me :D:D:D I really didn't want to go all the way again that evening. Happy as toddler I went to hotel room and had bit of ice-cream :D:D:D with cake ;) yummy in my tummy (that was probably the reason why I just missed on 3rd place in 1km TT) :D:D:D:D Evening session was all aimed at Scratch race. I have executed plan that was in my head to the dot and this time around all went well. After lots of ups and downs banking and staying in slipstreams, at the and of 15th kilometer I have enjoyed my first victory in scratch race. It was double gold and I am happy that now I ve got full house from Newport Velodrome.
